How to Cope With Emotional Eating

Knowing how to cope with emotional eating and knowing what triggers it can help you have a healthier relationship with food. Sometimes knowing whether or not you are REALLY hungry may help you with your triggers.

H: Am I hungry or hurt?
A: Am I anxious or angry?
L: AM I lonely or sad?
T: Am I tried or thirsty?
B4= HALT before you eat

B= Breathe, Slow down, Make time and take a few deep breaths. This will allow you to soothe your body and your emotions
