The Importance of Perseverance

Perseverance is pretty important if you want to get somewhere in life. By definition, perseverance means not giving up. It is persistence and tenacity, the effort required to do something and keep doing it till the end, even if it’s hard. EVEN IF IT’S HARD!

Perseverance is about pursuing a higher goal and developing an ability to deal with setbacks and failure on the way, if AND when things get difficult. Persevering is a combination of mindset and habit. Mechanically it’s about having the stamina to actually keep going and doing the right things. Mentally it’s about knowing where to go and how to deal with setbacks right. Without it you will never get anywhere, BUT with it you can go further than most people.

 

 

 

Persevering is about setting the right goal, having the right mindset and doing the right things habitually. Perseverance will push you to work through challenges, keep on keeping on.

I feel like there are too many soft people out there who just give up and the first sight of difficulty. That won’t get you very far in life. You have to know why you’re doing what you’re doing and fight for it.

Perseverance helps you to remember WHY you started something in the first place. Understanding why you’re doing what you’re doing, will make or break your perseverance. Without a why, you’re probably not going to get far if you hit a wall. Giving up is so much easier if you have no reason to keep going forward. Think about what it is that will keep you going.

You have to keep pushing forward even when setbacks occur. You have to persevere and put one foot in front of the other. Quitting is not an option. 

No matter what happens in life, learn from every experience to become a stronger and wiser person.

Decide to hold your vision and take daily action steps to reach your goals.

Look for alternative approaches if need be and just keep going.
