Signs that You May Have an Unhealthy Gut

You may think that signs of an unhealthy gut may be totally obvious. Ya know gas, bloating, indigestion and upset stomach or even constipation. This is not always the case.

Here are a few more obvious signs you may have an unhealthy gut:

  1. Chronic diarrhea, constipation, gas or bloating
  2. Nutritional deficiencies
  3. Poor immune system
  4. Headaches, brain fog, memory loss
  5. Excessive fatigue
  6. Skin rashes and problems such as acne, eczema or rosacea
  7. Cravings for sugar or carbs
  8. Arthritis or joint pain
  9. Depression, anxiety, ADD, ADHD
  10. Autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, celiac disease or Crohn’s



Any of these ring a bell? What about the not so obvious signs?

Let’s go into that a bit more here. If you have an unhealthy gut, things like toxins, microbes, undigested food particles, and more can escape from your intestines and travel throughout your body via your bloodstream. SERIOUSLY!! They are leaking into your body causing way more than a little gas or upset stomach. While you may be treating that upset stomach with some over the counter meds, there may be a deeper root cause that needs to be addressed



So, the not so obvious signs you may be suffering from a leaky gut:

  1. Acne
  2. Belching
  3. Brain fog
  4. Blood sugar imbalances
  5. Congestion
  6. Depression
  7. Fatigue
  8. Low energy
  9. Headaches
  10. Hormonal imbalances
  11. Food sensitivities
  12. Thyroid imbalance
  13. Muscle pain
  14. Bad breath
  15. Weight gain, inability to lose weight
  16. Gas after eating
  17. Seasonal allergies
  18. Skin rashes, hives, eczema, or rosacea
  19. Salt cravings
  20. Insomnia

I know many of these may not seem like they are a gut related BUT they are and not many people realize these issues about can be reversed and you could feel a lot better just by taking care of your gut health by restoring and maintaining your overall gut health. So…how do you do that?
