Weight Loss and Fitness for Beginners: How Do I Get Started?

The biggest question I hear is, “How do I get started on my weight loss and fitness program?” SO how do YOU get started?

Well, everyone is different and you have to realize that to begin with. What works for one may not work for the other. You also have to realize that there is no QUICK FIX or SHORTCUTS out there that will give you long term results. They are just not the way to go. I know we all want the quick fix and instant results but, it’s just not the way to go here.




SO here are my suggestions on Starting a weight loss and fitness program:

First off, you have to know what your goals are. Are you looking to gain weight ( muscle) lose weight, tone up, improve your health. This is going to be a huge factor as to what direction to go in to get started.

Second, which it should really be first, KNOW WHY you’re doing this. WHY are you wanting to start a weight loss and fitness program? Is it for health reasons, is it because you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired? It is because you are looking to be stronger, leaner, want more muscle? You have to dig deep and figure out WHY you are wanting to start a program and be SERIOUS about it all.

Third, start slow. If you’re a beginner, you MUST listen to your body and go slow with things. IT takes time to adjust to a new weight loss and fitness program, no matter what it is. Take your time.

Fourth, don’t compare yourself to others. Your day one may be someone elses day 100. Do what YOU can with what you have and don’t worry about anyone else.

Here are a few more SUPER important tips on getting started with your weight-loss and fitness program: Make it a routine, make it important enough to write it out and schedule things in your daily life to make your program a routine, every day! know that this will take time and you have to do something that can become a manageable lifestyle or it will NOT get you the permanent sustainable results you are looking for.

Last, but not least, if you are struggling with your health-nutrition-fitness here is my tip. Stop being half committed and start taking it seriously. If you need support, get a Coach or a trainer. Whether that’s myself or someone else. Ask for help if you need it.
