Episode #80: Emotional eating and our learned behaviors around food with special guest Meghan Kennedy ( Licensed Clinical Psychologist)

In today’s episode, we dive deeper into our learned behaviors and feelings around food and emotional eating.
I can’t even describe all the awesomeness in this episode. Meghan really brings it to light.
She discusses all of our learned messages regarding food, dieting, and exercise…along with our looks/size and how our minds create the emotional and behavioral connections to these through relational frame theory.
Mindset is HUGE when it comes to how we feel around these things. I feel this is an important message to get out there because we’re all human and we should be allowed to FEEL our feelings. It’s a whole different sense of freedom when we can allow the feelings to be felt and understand these learned behaviors.
It may just be the key to resolving our emotional eating binges and self-sabotaging dieting behaviors.
Take a listen,
