Ever tried a H.I.I.T workout?

H.I.I.T stands for “high intensity interval training.”

H.I.I.T. is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
I love to do workouts like this one because they are done and over with in 15 minutes or less. No walking on the treadmill for a million hours to get my cardio it.

H.I.I.T. it and quit it!!

Here are some GREAT benefits of a H.I.I.T. workout:

*Significantly increases both aerobic and anaerobic fitness.
*Lowers insulin resistance,
and results in a number of skeletal muscle adaptations like enhanced skeletal muscle, fat  oxidation, and improved glucose tolerance
*Not only do you burn more calories during a HIIT workout, but the effect of all that intense exertion kicks your body’s repair cycle into hyperdrive. That means you burn more fat and calories in the 24 hours after a HIIT workout than you do after, say, a steady-pace run.

*You’ll increase your metabolism

*Super-efficient HIIT is the ideal workout for a busy schedule. You can get in a complete full body HIIT workout in 4 minutes if needed

We’re going to harness ALL of those benefits in about 10 minutes today –
