How to Find Your Passion in Life

FOLLOW YOUR PASSION! Yeah, sure, you’d love to—if only you knew what your passion was.
Everyone seems to say that but, what does it really mean? Well, can you see yourself doing what you’re doing today 10 years from now? Are you doing something that you feel in your heart is your true calling? It doesn’t necessarily have to be your job. It has to be something you feel in your heart is exactly WHAT you feel compelled to do.
Still not sure? Here are a few helpful ways to discover your passion and figure out what you really want to do with your life.
Revisit your childhood. What did you love to do? Make a list of all the things you remember enjoying as a child. Would you enjoy that activity now? Once you have that list, ask yourself this. What can be translated and added into your life now? How can those past experiences shape your career choices now?
Take a Look at your talents. What are you good at? Are there things you like to do that you don’t think you’re that good at, that other people have complimented you on? Know that you don’t necessarily have to be good at something for it to qualify as a passion. You don’t have to ever earn a penny of income from it either. When it comes to your passions, the only thing that matters is that you enjoy them.
What do you love to talk about, learn about and/or teach others about? Did you ever think that this, right here, could be your passion? The thing you focus on most and talk about the most IS your passion. Whether or not you realize that just yet, I’m telling you right now that THIS is your passion. Your passion comes through you without much effort. It’s the thing you do the most with the least effort. It just comes naturally.
Quit talking and start doing. It’s time to take action!! It’s time to take consistent passion-based action each day. One day at a time. Building your life around something you LOVE is something you will never regret. It’s your passion for what you do, that will give you the drive, commitment and energy necessary to create any amount of success and fulfillment you desire, and you’ll have great time while doing it.
Now, get out there and get started and let me know how it all goes.
