How to Deal with Negative Body Issues Episode 4: Accepting Your Body

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

It’s time for you to accept your body and love it. Being comfortable in your own skin is up to you. As I said in Episode 3, you have to learn that your are valued. It’s important to know that in order to accept your body. It all starts with what you say when you look at yourself. It is positive or negative?

The real reason we aren’t accepting our bodies is because of our belief about where we think we “SHOULD” be. It’s time to throw those beliefs out the window and believe you are BEAUTIFUL!

It’s time to embrace your beauty just the way you are. It may seem impossible to love yourself as you are at first but you can change that. You deserve to be happy and comfortable in your own skin. Why not be happy with who you are?!

If you think it’s weight you need to lose to make you happy, don’t hate yourself because of it, accept where you are and love yourself through the process. You owe it to yourself to be kind and loving.  Be okay with where you are now. Being okay with your body doesn’t mean you can’t still want to change. You can still accept your body in a gentle, loving, compassionate way, and still be on the path to better health. Be mindful, loving, and gentle with yourself and your body; with where you are now in your journey. And be courageous enough not to hide or be ashamed of how you look. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.

You have to work with what you’ve been given, embrace it, OWN IT. Be yourself and be happy about it.

Love what your momma gave you! You’re unique and your body is your genetic make up. This is who you are, how you were created. Work on being proud of it all. Your body is your home , it’s where your heart is and where you should show the most love.
