5 Steps to Happiness Step 2: Write Your Own Story

It’s all up to you on how you want to write your life story. You can change it at any time. You are the main character and it’s you life. You are the author so don’t let anyone else hold the pen. You better write that story and be proud of it!!

You can choose to let past experiences, good or bad, shape who you are. YOu can choose to let the bad experiences, because they will happen, hold you back OR you can use it as fuel to your next chapter.

You get to choose how you’re going to write the next chapter and you, and ONLY you, can change the way your story pans out. If you want to be happy, you have to write a happy story, EVEN, when things get tough and fall apart.

Your story is about the thoughts and beliefs that you convince yourself are true, so make sure they are good, positive thoughts. We all have stories about the past, the present or the future. They can be about things we should do, what is possible, what other people could do, or who other people are.

You must embrace your story, past, present and future and shape it into the best version you can. It’s all up to you. Are you going to be the victim OR the victor of your story?

It’s time to outline the kind of story (LIFE) that you want for yourself,  outline the principles and values that you want for your main character (YOU), and I plan ahead what steps you need to take to make progress in your story.

You don’t necessarily have know what the next few chapters look like, or have an idea what the ending will be.   You just have to be hopeful, and write a  good story, and like where it’s headed. Remember, you’re the author and you decide if you want an adventure story or not.
